Materials
This food container is made out of:
1. Bagasse - The fibrous residue that remains after sugarcane stalks are crushed for sugar extraction.
2. PLA from starch - Derived from lactic acid, it is obtained from the fermentation of 100% renewable and biodegradable plant sources, such as corn or in our case, starch.
Climate impact
Fewer greenhouse gasses are emitted when making this product compared to alternatives such as paper and plastic.
Environmental impact
It leaves behind no toxins, harmful residues, and microplastics in the environment.
